DAPL Blocker Was Clinton Donor, Democrat Staffer


On December 4th, the Assistant Secretary of the Army For Civil Works, Jo-Ellen Darcy, announced that she would not approve an easement needed to complete the Dakota Access Pipeline.

According to LegiStorm, Darcy was as Senior Environmental Advisor for Democrats at the Senate Finance Committee, and was a Senior Policy Adviser for Democrats at the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

According to OpenSecrets.org, on Sept. 17, 2016, Darcy donated $250 to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign while the Corps of Engineers was considering issues related to the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Darcy also donated to President Barack Obama’s 2009 inaugural committee.
